Spa Etiquette & Frequently Asked Spa Questions
General Spa Information
Yes, it is always advisable to make an appointment for your spa session, and preferably 2 weeks in advance, if possible. However, you can always contact us with your reservation request at any time. This is to ensure availability of your treatment with the preferred time slot. Although, we accept walk-ins, it is always subject to availability. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]

3. Should I avoid visiting if I'm pregnant?
Not necessarily so, though you may like to check with your gynaecologist first. But, you should avoid treatments and body massages using heat, deep pressure and certain aromatic oils. Please let us know if you are pregnant so that our spa consultant can recommend the most suitable pre-natal care treatments for you. This will also allow us to take the necessary precautionary measures to ensure that you are perfectly safe and comfortable throughout your spa session with us. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]
4. Do I have to disrobe entirely for my spa treatments?
Undergarments are not necessary, but you may keep them on during your spa treatment. Any area that is not treated is properly draped to protect your privacy at all times. Nevertheless, disposable undergarments will be provided for your body treatments. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]

6. How often should I visit the Spa?
It all depends on your specific needs and spa treatments you have chosen. Some of our clients would come as and when they can find the time. There are those who would come twice a week. However, most of our regular spa members visit us once a fortnight as recommended.
Do not hesitate to ask any questions if this is your first visit to a Spa. Remember you are here to relax and pamper yourself and we want you to feel at ease so that you can fully enjoy your spa experience with us. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]
Spa Etiquette
- Be Early, Not Late
Do arrive at least 15 minutes early, especially if it is your first visit to the spa as you will be require to complete a personal information and medical form. Even for subsequent visits, be 5 minutes early or at least be on time as your lateness may also affect and disrupt the schedule and experience of other spa guests after you. Most of all, you want to arrive in a relaxed state of mind to fully enjoy your spa experience. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]
- Enjoy The Spa Silence
The spa environment is one of tranquility, relaxation and pampering. Please respect the quiet ambiance and privacy of other spa guests by speaking softly or just enjoy the silence. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]
- Switch Off The Phone
You are here to relax and get away from the outside world. So switch off your mobile devices and if you really cannot, set it to silent mode upon entering the spa. Your co-operation will go a long way to making your spa experience and those of others an indulging one every time. [watch our Spa Etiquette youtube video]
Getting the best out of your Spa Therapy
- Breathe
Deep breathing is highly recommended during your spa massage or spa therapy to focus your mind, enliven your body and relax your being all at the same time.
- Visualise
As the spa therapist works on tight areas and knots, visualise those places loosening up.
- Let Go
Don’t help the spa therapist lift your arm or turn your head. Therapists call this hanging on. The opposite is letting go.
- Stop Thinking, Start Being
You think all day long. Massage is a great way to do a “massage meditation”. Focus on the sensations you’re experiencing and think about nothing else. Getting to a state of nothingness is one of the best relaxation you can ever experience.
